In 2005, our bank was granted several Awards for its Equities & Derivatives business. Among them, the three most recent were granted by the “Asia Risk Magazine” for:

  • Asia Risk Derivatives House of the Year, Japan

The outstanding development of the equity derivatives business and a solid performance by the credit derivatives team led to BNP Paribas receiving Asia Risk’s Derivatives House of the Year, Japan award.

  • Credit Derivatives House of the Year, Asia

BNP Paribas’ credit team has seen an exponential growth in business over the past three years – volumes of structured deals grew tenfold between 2002 and 2005, thanks to better product acceptance, improved regulatory frameworks and a stronger structuring platform for the bank as well as the ”snowball” effect of landmark deals.
