-Shinhan Bank and BNP Paribas agreed to provide Cash Management Services to foreign
corporate clients operating in Korea.
-Shinhan Bank and BNP Paribas shall provide the services through systematic
integrations.

On May 18, Hyung Jin KIM, Deputy President and Head of Corporate Banking
Group of Shinhan Bank and Philippe Reynieix, Country Head of BNP Paribas
Korea joined in celebrating the launch of their collaboration in cash management
services.

Through this collaboration, Shinhan has established a service platform that will
enable itself to deliver the cash management services to European and foreign
corporate clients in Korea and plans to broaden its client base further to new
foreign corporate clients.

As for BNP Paribas, the Bank has now obtained the capacity to provide faster
cash management services to the overseas headquarters of the foreign
corporate clients in Korea through a systematic integration between BNP Paribas
and Shinhan Bank.

This cash management service is an extension of the strategic alliance between
the two groups established in late 2001 and the two banks continued to broaden
the areas of collaboration.
