BNP Paribas named the Derivatives House of the Year for the 6th consecutive year

For six years in a row, BNP Paribas is named as the Derivatives House of the Year Asia Pacific, which is the most coveted award at The Asset Triple A – Private Banking, Wealth Management and Investment Awards 2013.  The award is a strong recognition showcasing BNP Paribas’ outstanding derivatives products across asset classes in the market.

The Asset, a leading financial publication in Asia Pacific, notes that BNP Paribas’ “hiring plans in the Asia-Pacific region over the coming years has highlighted its commitment to its fixed income and global equities and commodity derivatives platforms”.  It also recognises that BNP Paribas has “improved its offering with the launch of SMART Derivatives structured products and CORTEX iX algorithmic execution and exposure platforms”.

BNP Paribas reaped a total of four awards in the Regional House and Investment Product category of the Awards, which include:

  1. Derivatives House of the Year in Asia Pacific (for 6 years in a row)
  2. Best Credit Derivatives House in Asia Pacific (for 4 years in a row)
  3. Best Rates Derivatives House in Asia Pacific
  4. Best Structured Product: Credit in Asia Pacific (for a hybrid credit linked note)
