BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance launches the ‘Go ELS VL!’ campaign

BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance, the Korean subsidiary of BNP Paribas Cardif, the insurance arm of BNP Paribas, today launched the ‘Go ELS VL!’ campaign to extend its gratitude to the customers while celebrating the recent launch of regular-type ELS VLs – ‘(NP) ELS Master VL (Regular type)’ and ‘(NP) ELS Pro VL (Regular type)’.

During the campaign period, which will last until June 30, all new subscribers of BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance’s ‘(NP) ELS Master VL’ (single payment-type, regular-type) and ‘(NP) ELS Pro VL’ (single payment-type, regular-type) will be given a special gift set of Korean traditional red pepper paste (Gochujang). As Gochujang, a kind of fermented condiment, is made over a long period of time with great care, the gift is meant to show BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance’s appreciation for policyholders who entrust their assets to the insurer’s ELS-investing VLs for a long period of time. The subscribers who confirm their contract will receive the gifts in early August after the deadline for subscription withdrawals.

BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance introduced the industry’s first ELS-investing VL last year, which allowed subscribers to invest in ELS through the variable life insurance. By making a diversified investment in various ELS which usually offer subscribers higher interest rates than saving deposit rates, the ELS VLs can help pursue better returns with medium level of risks, allowing the subscribers to gain stable yields amid the stagnant investment environment. This product swiftly received enthusiastic response in the market and recorded a total subscription amount of over KRW 100 billion in less than a year since its launch.
