BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance holds photo contest to feature the joy of tennis – Celebrating the “2014 BNP Paribas Amateur Open” in South Korea

BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance, the Korean subsidiary of BNP Paribas Cardif, the insurance arm of BNP Paribas, is pleased to announce that it will organise a photo contest from 16 September to 31 October 2014 to celebrate the ‘2014 BNP Paribas Amateur Open’.

To help promote the tennis sport, applicants are encouraged to take photos at the ‘2014 BNP Paribas Amateur Open’ or any photos that can highlight the joy of tennis for this photo contest. They can enroll in the contest and submit their works on the website of BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance (www.cardif.co.kr). From 18 September, they will also be able to upload their photos via the mobile website (m.cardif.co.kr). Visitors of the websites can leave comments about the contesting photos.

The grand winner selected by a judging panel of BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance will receive a gift certificate worth KRW 1 million. Three other winners will receive the second prize and each will receive a gift certificate of a department store worth KRW 500,000. A gift certificate of a bakery shop worth KRW 10,000 will be given away to a total of 20 contest participants.

In addition, people who leave comments about the photos may win a gift certificate of a bakery shop worth KRW 10,000 through a lucky draw. A total of 30 gift certificates will be given away.

Following the success of the first ‘BNP Paribas Amateur Open’ tennis competition in Korea last year, BNP Paribas and BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance this year organise the tournament again jointly with Korea Amateur Tennis Organisation (KATO) for amateur tennis players.

The games will be held from 18 to 21 September in Mokdong, Bucheon and Guri. It is expected thataround 1,400 passionate amateur tennis players will participate in the event.

Besides competition, there will also be programs for around 100 children, such as ‘Free junior tennis lessons’ and ‘Redball tournament’which give them a chance to learn and enjoy playing tennis. A ceremony for ‘junior tennis scholarship’, which aims at raising children’s interest in playing tennis and nurturing young sport talents, will be held as well.
