BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance, the Korean subsidiary of BNP Paribas Cardif, the insurance arm of BNP Paribas, today held a spring clean-up event in Namsan Park, the iconic scenic spot in Seoul.
In celebration of the ‘tree-planting’ month of April, around 20 employees from BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance acted as volunteers today to clean up the leaves piled up in the winter and fertilize the trees along the Jangchungdan road in Namsan Park.
Jean-Christophe Darbes, CEO of BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance, said: “We are very happy to help one of the most beloved scenic attractions in Seoul get cleaned up for the spring. BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance is highly conscious of its environmental responsibility. We are committed to helping keep our communities clean and green.”
In addition to the environmental protection initiatives, BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance has also been placing relentless efforts in supporting underprivileged children through a variety of activities, including forest exploration, environmental education through urban farming (Green Leader program), economic education and career counseling.
