– Active involvement of the ‘Green Leaders’ in promoting the programme
– Pro bono participation of the band ‘Plastic’ thru composing of a song <Forest> and donating it to the NGO to support the ‘Green Leader Programme’
BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance, the Korean subsidiary of BNP Paribas Cardif, the insurance arm of BNP Paribas, is pleased to announce that it has successfully organised the ‘Green Concert’ at the ‘Live Plaza’, an indoor stage, of COEX Mall on 25 November 2016.
The ‘Green Concert’, part of BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance’s flagship CSR initiative, ‘Green Leader Programme’, has been organised for two years to share and spread the meaning of the programme to the general public which is to provide ‘healing’ sentiment to the socially disadvantaged people.
Staff volunteers from BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance, members of the NGO ‘Forest for Life’, participants of the ‘Green Leader Programme’ and other general public visiting the COEX Mall gathered and enjoyed a relaxing time with music in the city during the concert.
Particularly, participating children of the ‘Green Leader Programme’ took an active role in the concert by explaining the programme to the general public and performing a song <Forest> composed by the band ‘Plastic’ for them on the stage.
Furthermore, the song <Forest> was donated to NGO, ‘Forest for Life’ and all of the profit will be used to support the ‘Green Leader Programme’.
The members of the ‘Plastic’ band said: “We are happy to communicate with people about the “Green Leader Programme” thru music. We hope that bright and confident side of the children we saw while we were preparing for the concert together can be continued in the ‘Green Leader Programme.” “We also hope for the programme’s further expansion so that more people can benefit from this programme.”
‘Green Leader Programme’, jointly organised by BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance and the NGO ‘Forest for Life’ since 2011, is a long-term CSR initiative supporting underprivileged children and senior citizens as ‘Green Leaders’ to cultivate forests and gardens.
