BNP PARIBAS has arranged a new syndicated USD 215 million 364-day multi borrower and multi currency revolving credit facility for ORIX.

BNP Paribas acted as Sole Bookrunner in Japan as well as Joint Bookrunner with WOORIBANK in Korea. The facility is available for ORIX Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary ORIX Capital Korea in three currencies: Korean Won, Japanese Yen and US Dollar.

The transaction was oversubscribed by 8 financial institutions including BNP PARIBAS and successfully closed on 19 November 2007. This is a rare deal in the market in that a syndicated multi-borrower credit line was arranged for a Japanese large corporate and its subsidiary in Asia.

ORIX Corporation is an integrated financial services group based in Tokyo, providing a wide range of products and services to both corporate and retail customers. With operations in 26 countries and regions worldwide, ORIX's activities include financial services for SMEs, such as leases and loans, as well as automobile leasing and rental operations, real estate-related finance, real estate operations, life insurance, investment banking, and retail banking.
