BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance partners with K-Bank to offer four types of ‘e-Health Protection’

BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance announces that it is offering four types of ‘e-Health First Protection’ by partnering with ‘K-Bank’, South Korea’s first internet bank.


BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance is the life insurance subsidiary of BNP Paribas Cardif in Korea, the insurance arm of BNP Paribas.

BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance’s four types of ‘e-Health Protection’ provides three essential coverages for hospitalization, surgery and accident which have high coverage preference and demand.

For those customers who want to be guaranteed a certain protection, three types of single product are offered; ‘e-Health First Hospitalization’, ‘e-Health First Surgery’ and ‘e-Health First Accident’. Through ‘e-Health First Plus Protection’, customers can receive three essential coverages at once.

Han Jeong-soo, Head of Product Development department in BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance, said; “different types of ‘e-Health Protection’ are designed to allow customers to choose the protection according to their own situation and needs. BNP Paribas Cardif Life Insurance also enhanced customer convenience at the stage of subscription by allowing customers to subscribe the product through the bank’s mobile banking application even if they do not visit a bank branch.”

Four types of ‘e-Health Protection’ can be subscribed through the mobile application serviced by K-Bank. The product is available for people between the age of 19 and 60 with a policy period of five years (non-renewal type), and the type of premium payment can be selected either single or monthly payment during the full period of coverage.
